ADOPTION

​

GCAC supports the reunification process with children and their biological families.  When reunification is not possible and a child’s parental rights have been terminated, GCAC promotes permanency through adoption for children placed  within GCAC of Georgia.  At this time, foster parents through GCAC may have the opportunity to adopt.

Fostering to Adopt

GCAC recognizes the journey continues as they walk alongside the family throughout the adoption process.  Once the adoption is completed, GCAC remains involved by offering training, support and staying connected as much as the family and child desire.
